2. OVERVIEW OF DATA PROCESSING
We collect personal data only when it is necessary to provide our services, process your registration, or communicate with you. Below is a summary of the data we process:

3. LEAGUE REGISTRATION
When you register for a Playhouse league, we collect your name, email, phone number, gender, team type preference, chosen activity, and venue. This data is necessary for:
- Creating your league account and assigning you to a team
- Communicating game schedules, scores, and updates
- Sharing your contact information with your teammates for coordination purposes
- Processing your payment
Teammate data sharing: Your name, email, and phone number will be shared with your assigned teammates so you can coordinate. If you are uncomfortable with this, contact us at hello@playhousesocialclub.com and we will work out an alternative.
Retention: Registration data is retained for the duration of the league season plus 6 months for administrative purposes (refund handling, dispute resolution). After this period, it is deleted unless you register for a new season.
4. PAYMENT PROCESSING
Payments are processed by Mollie B.V. (Keizersgracht 126, 1015 CW Amsterdam, Netherlands). When you make a payment, you are redirected to Mollie's secure payment page. We do not store your credit card or bank details.
Mollie processes your payment data as an independent controller. Their privacy policy is available at: mollie.com/privacy
5. NEWSLETTER & WAITLIST
When you sign up for our newsletter or waitlist, we collect your name and email address based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) DSGVO). We use this data solely to inform you about upcoming seasons, events, and Playhouse news.
Revocation: You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing hello@playhousesocialclub.com with the subject line "Unsubscribe." We will delete your data promptly.
6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS (AUFTRAGSVERARBEITER)
We use the following third-party services to operate our website and league:
Vercel Inc.

Purpose: Website hosting, analytics (Vercel Analytics), and performance monitoring (Speed Insights)
Data transfer: Data may be transferred to the USA. Vercel relies on EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for lawful transfer.
Google LLC (Google Sheets via Apps Script)
Mountain View, USA
Purpose: Storing registration, waitlist, and corporate inquiry data
Data transfer: Data is transferred to the USA. Google relies on EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
Resend Inc.
San Francisco, USA
Purpose: Sending transactional and notification emails (registration confirmations, admin alerts)
Data transfer: Data may be transferred to the USA under SCCs.
Mollie B.V.
Amsterdam, Netherlands
Purpose: Payment processing
Data transfer: Data processed within the EU/EEA.
7. COOKIES & LOCAL STORAGE
Our website uses the following types of cookies and browser storage:
- Essential (session storage): We use browser session storage to temporarily save your form progress during registration. This data is automatically cleared when you close your browser tab. No consent is required for this under TTDSG § 25(2).
- Cookie consent preference (local storage): We store your cookie consent choice in local storage so we don't ask you again on every visit. This is technically necessary and does not require consent.
- Analytics (Vercel Analytics): If you consent, Vercel Analytics collects anonymized usage data (page views, performance metrics). These cookies are only set after you give consent via our cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies or using the cookie settings on our site.
8. YOUR RIGHTS (BETROFFENENRECHTE)

9. DATA SECURITY
We use SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmission. Our website is hosted on Vercel with enterprise-grade security. Payment processing is handled by Mollie, which is PCI DSS compliant. We do not store any payment card data on our servers.
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. For material changes, we will notify registered users via email.
